Happy Hanukkah and Merry Christmas! This is Lord Sandifer, taking a break from my royal party!
This year we had a royal ball. I was dressed up in a puppy tux, and no there are no pictures. I told the paps to focus on Prince William and Kate Middleton and my pal Prince Harry. I like my privacy and the paps know that!

Training me. Part 2 :
Hello my subjects! Tis' I, Lord Sandifer, your friendly King Charles Caviler puppy ! My human father bought me a puppy pen and placed it in the living room. My human mommy joked that the living room has become a play pen room due to the human baby having his own and myself.

Puppy Training me!
My human dad wanted to get rid of me because I was a young pup and I wasn't potty trained and house trained. I also had two young human siblings. Before you all get all barked up about this, I can understand why my human daddy was like this.

The Potty Patch = fake grass for a puppy to go potty indoors.
Let me tell you, I am a puppy.. or as some people call me "A royal puppy blogger" and I am going to be honest about this:
I read a website that pretty much says to not use it (see the site here).
One of the reasons the website listed was:
- dog will be walked less (NOT TRUE if you are a dog owner and love us dogs!)
Look , my human parents got me that puppy patch, and it is in my puppy pen. They take me out during the day to play.. take me out on walks.. but it helps with my training!
Cleaning it is easy. Pick up the poops and at the end of the day, wash off the pee. Not hard. If you are going to be going out all day long.. this is a good thing to have! Having the puppy patch does not make a human lazy!
- dogs eat their own poop
Yes there are some that do. I don't. My human mom asked my dog trainer about that. They said it is like cats eating their own hair balls (and yes my old geezer brother who is a Maine Coon.. he eats his own hair balls. YUCK!!!) it is because of the food we eat. It is tasty and sometims, we like the taste of the food that is in the poop. Yes YUCKY and for your records ; I do not eat my own poop!
Just make sure once we poop, clean it up. Just like being in the outdoors. You clean up the poop, right? Then do it on the fake grass.
All I am saying is , if you have a puppy and you want to potty train them indoors, (and we are a small breed) then go ahead. Just don't be lazy about using it. Meaning, after we go poopie, clean it up!
So I give this product four paws up!
This is Lord Sandifer, closing my puppy computer for the day. I need my rest!

It has been a full week since I have blogged last! The truth is, there has been a bad rumor going on about me in my house. My human mommy wants to keep me but my human daddy does not because I am a little puppy who needs to get potty trained.
My human daddy says it is because there are already two young human children but I told him that I am a good breed and I can be easily trained... so when I saw my mommy cry because she wanted to keep me, I told her that I should go to dog school....and that is where I am at! I like to call it 'puppy boot camp'. Two weeks of getting potty trained and house broken...
so when I am resting in my 'dorm' room, I can blog about my experience in here!
While I am at puppy school, here is the music I have on my puppy iPod :
1. A Christmas Festival - Boston Pops Orchestra & Arthur Fiedler
2. Mannin Even (Dear Isle of Man)- Hayden Wood
3. Exaltation - James Swearingen
4. Aspen Jubilee- Ron Nelson
so far these are songs on my puppy iPod. They are relaxing songs I love to listen to as I fall asleep. If you haven't heard any of these songs, you should!
